In 1997, Paula Milano and Karen Mills founded Axion Solutions, Inc. in order to help companies manage and control their supply chain through rapid deployment, cost-effective implementation and integration with new and existing infrastructure. In 2005, Ki Solutions, LLC spun off of Axion Solutions, Inc. to offer SAP solutions for Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence (BI) and e-commerce.

Milano's leadership focus and 25 years of professional experience mirrors Ki Solutions' mission – to combine the strength of technological innovation with the insight of experience. Previously, she held various sales and executive positions at software and services companies such as DEC, Sybase and Oracle.

Familiar with corporate leadership, Milano is also a leader in the community and a strong proponent of opportunities for women. Active in professional and charitable organizations, she is a founding member of Women in Philanthropy and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Working Wardrobes – an organization helping women in crisis return to work – and as Chair of the Dean's Leadership Circle for the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

Milano's numerous awards include the National Association of Women Business Owners 2002 Remarkable Woman award and 2005 Outstanding Woman in Technology and Life Science from the American Electronics Association.
Milano graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.

Philippe De Smedt
COO, Ki Solutions 
Philippe De Smedt is the Chief Operating Officer of Ki Solutions, a leader in providing enterprise business solutions for mid-market companies. His responsibilities include management of Ki Solutions– an SAP Certified Channel Partner – specifically overseeing development and delivery of mySAP All-in-One and SAP Business One solutions.

In 1996, Philippe De Smedt founded Sigma, an SAP certified reseller and implementer of mySAP All-in-One solutions for the southeastern United States. Under De Smedt's direction, Sigma was ranked #1 SAP Sales Partner four years in a row and #1 in Customer Satisfaction three years in a row.  Plaut, Inc. used Sigma's success to roll out their North American SAP reseller business when they bought Sigma in 2000, before they were acquired by IDS Scheer, Inc. in 2003.

De Smedt has worked in the SAP industry for over fifteen years. Previously, he was VP of Services at Bureau van Dijk, an SAP consulting firm, and Internal SAP Consultant at Petrofina, a chemical and petroleum company – implementing SAP at every European subsidiary for the company (including U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium). De Smedt holds a bachelors degree in computer sciences from the University of Brussels, Belgium.

Carl Dunlap
Vice President, Ki Solutions
Carl Dunlap is the Vice President of the Eastern Region at Ki Solutions.  His responsibilities include management of the North East operations at Ki Solutions– an SAP Gold Channel Partner – specifically overseeing development and delivery of SAP All-in-One solutions to customers in the North East. Carl has 13 years of experience with Enterprise Applications, including 12 years of SAP experience.  Ki Solutions sells SAP licenses and provides full implementation services for Small and Midsize Enterprises.  Ki Solutions has Qualified SAP All-in-One solutions for Medical Devices and Wholesale Distribution that are available Nationwide.
Prior to Ki Solutions, Carl served as the Director of Solutions Engineering at GCS – an SAP Channel Partner in Greater New England.  Carl also served as the President of Cohesion, Inc. an SAP Services company focused on Quality Management consulting and Enterprise Portal Integration.  Carl has also worked as a Senior Business Development Manager for Plumtree Software.  Prior to Plumtree, Carl held the position of Business Development Manager for BrightStar’s SAP ERP practice.  Carl came to BrightStar (Nasdaq BTSR) through the acquisition of TBQ Associates, Inc. where he was the President and co-founder.  Before founding TBQ, Carl was employed as a Senior Logistics Consultant for SAP America.  While at SAP, Carl was vital to the creation of the SAP University Alliance Program.  Carl can be reached at (775) 846-1386 or CDunlap@Ki4SAP.com
